Stephen Goddard

Stephen Goddard is an independent graphic and exhibition designer with nearly 20 years experience in the cultural industry. He has a Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in Graphic Design and Photography and a Graduate Diploma in Art, Craft and Design, both from the University of Tasmania. Stephen has spent two study periods at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.

In recent times, he has worked on major projects for Object: Australian Centre for Craft and Design, the State Library of NSW, the Australian Museum, Bombay Sapphire, Macleay Museum, and the National Museum, to name but a few. He was responsible for the brand identity and core design for Sydney Festival from 2002 to 2005, and for the Biennale of Sydney in 2000 and 2004. Stephen spent 2008 as Senior Creative Associate for Object, a position briefed around using design thinking to help develop the organisation's strategic position looking to 2015.
