Kate Rhodes

Kate Rhodes is Curator of the Design for Everyone Program, State of Design Festival and Adjunct Curator, Object: Australian Centre for Craft and Design. She is a former Editor of Artichoke, an architecture and design magazine, and is currently a member of the Program Advisory Committee for the School of Fashion and the School of Interior Design at RMIT. She has worked as a curator at the National Design Centre and Craft Victoria and was formerly Assistant Curator of Photography and Contemporary Art at the National Gallery of Victoria. She completed a Masters of Art Curatorship at the University of Melbourne in 2002, and is currently completing an MA by Research in RMIT’s Faculty of Architecture and Design. Kate has curated more than ten exhibitions in the areas of art, craft, design and architecture and regularly publishes in these fields.
